Today we are heading to Épernay the other major Champagne city. Taking the back roads we stopped in Hautvillers where Dom Perignon lived at the Abbey of Hautvillers. We stopped and had coffee at the Café in the village. As you can see one of the sights that we observed was Lucy and Ethyl bringing in the grapes from the fields for crushing.
