In our walk through the vineyards we observed that vines can produce up to 100 years old if cared for properly. Here you see a newly planted vine, one in the 30-40 year range and one approaching 100 years old as indicated by the diameter of the trunk. All vines are trimmed short with 1 producing branch and generally 6-8 grape producing stems growing from that branch.
