Tasting Bourgogne Wines

Today was our first scheduled tasting of Bourgogne wines at a  vineyard in the Beanue area. Based on the recommendation and support of a good friend, we chose Pierre André at the Château De Corton André in the village of Aloxe-Corton. We were treated to a fabulous 2 hour experience, tasting 6 Chardonay whites and 6 Pinot Noir reds, the grapes of Burgundy. Phillipe our host ( the one you don't recognize in the picture) through all of this reviewed the workings of Corton André and the wine production process in Burgundy during a detailed review of each wine tasted. After the tasting based on the recommendation of the people at Corton André, we had a delightful lunch at the Hermitage Restaurant acros the street from the village.  What a way to spend a day.
