Today we departed the Hôtel Porte Mars with it's wonderful staff heading for Beaune. After a stop in Verdun we had a typical lunch in the wee village of Lacroix sur Meuse at the Restaurant La Fontaine on the way run by un homme et sa femme. Now we are settled in our accommodation on a side street in Beaune behind the Mairie and the police station, a very safe location.
